Travel Med Surg RN
Start: ASAP (within 4 weeks of submission)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, EOW, floating/call required but rarely needed

General Comments
FINGERPRINTS FOR ALL NM TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED!!
***Please only submit candidates if your agency is registered with the state of New Mexico as the fingerprint process can take several weeks***
48-hr Guarantees may be accommodated, must include in BODY of submittal
Block Schedule may be accommodated, as long as it doesn't have to be the same days every week; must include in BODY of submittal
Required to float as needed, but Rarely. May occasionally float to ICU to take MS Overflow or Step Down patients.
General Med Surg Unit, some post op ortho, general surgery
Call required, however rarely needed
Scrubs: Royal Blue
EMR: Cerner, Mindray Telemetry System
Patient Ration: 1:6, sometimes requires 1:7
1 Week MAX RTO Approved
There are no intrinsic call requirements for MS. We occasionally place someone on call if census dictates that we do so but this would happen on a regularly scheduled shift. There is no additional call. We do require that our staff will float to other areas if needed and as appropriate.
