General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
Number of Beds -1 IR suite and 4 holding bays
Number of Staff – 2 techs, 3 RNs, 4 PRN staff
Type of staff:
Day Shift – 2 techs and 2-3 RNs
Night Shift – 1 tech and 1 RN call
Patient Ratios – 1:1, estimated never guaranteed
Type of equipment – Client Allura
EMR -Meditech / Centricity PACS
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (IR Technologist)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 6 months of current acute care IR Tech experience
ARRT (R) & BLS
Strong organizational skills
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Critical care and IR experience
Expert knowledge of Vascular procedures
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Lung, liver, kidney bx, port/line placements and drain placements,
Para/thoracentesis, kyphoplasty and sedation for other imaging departments i.e. MRI/CT
Best personality Fit:
Strong team player
Works well in a busy environment
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
On call is required during the week and a weekend rotation
