7P - 7A Unit Information: Rehab Location: Wesley Rehabilitation Center Address: 833 N Vassar Ave, Wichita, KS 67208 Floor: 1 Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s):

Number of Beds - 41
Number of Staff – currently have 60 nursing
Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 4 RN and 5 LPN
- Night Shift – 4 RN and 4 LPN
Patient Ratios – 1:6
Type of equipment – patient lifts; iSTAT, glucometer, administer inhalers/breathing treatments, wound vac dressing changes
EMR – Meditech

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, LPNs)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
BLS

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

CRRN Certification
Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute setting
Telemetry patients/must pass Airstrip telemetry competency
ACLS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Assist in rehabilitation care plan established by interdisciplinary team
Lab draws, IV antibiotics, IV meds as needed, blood administration as needed, head to toe assessments,

Enjoys educating patients and family members on care plan/rehabilitation program
Good communication skills
Empathetic and patient advocate
