• Position: Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse
• Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
• Shift: Rotating Day/Evening (D/E)
• Shift Pattern: 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Weekends: Required based on unit needs
• Holidays: Required based on unit needs
• On-Call/Callback: Required based on unit needs

Position Overview

• Join a fast-paced, state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology department providing specialized care to adult inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care throughout all phases of image-guided procedures, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, technologists, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Serve as a key member of the Critical Embolization Response Team for trauma patients requiring emergent interventional procedures.

 Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS Certification

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity procedural environment.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Required to wear hospital-issued and hospital-laundered scrub tops and pants, along with any additional infection prevention personal protective equipment (PPE) required in procedural areas.
