Description
Position: RN – Med/Surg Telemetry
Location: Cleveland OH
Floating: Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population.
Shift Information
- Rotating Day/Night Shifts
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs.
- The facility will make every effort to honor the traveler's preferred shift; however, rotation may be required as needed.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferred within one facility but may be combined across locations)
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Travel experience will be accepted toward the Med/Surg Tele requirement
License & Certification Requirements
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required at time of submission
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (AHA or client-approved equivalent)
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Additional Requirements
- Traveler must work at least every other holiday
- ECG Rhythm Recognition Test will be administered during orientation
- SafeMedicate Assessment will be administered during orientation
- Passing scores on both assessments are required to continue the assignment
