Description

Travel:Registered Nurse (RN) / Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry (7p-7a)
AUTO OFFER POSITION
Lutheran Hospital
Neuro Medical Surgical / Tele
Shift: 7p-7a, every other weekend
GH: 72 bi-weekly

Duration: 13 weeks
no block schedule option.

Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (can obtain 1st week of orientation)

Experience needed: 2 years

Scope of role: Higher med-surg acuity with diagnoses of stroke, seizures, post op neuro surgeries and level 2 trauma patients and level 1 trauma post-ICU care, and other diagnoses like DKA, renal failure, and general post op care

Skills required: Expertise in neuro assessments, critical thinking skills, drain management and post-surgical care

Patient ratio: 5:1 or 6:1

Floating: floats to other med-surg/tele units
