Registered Nurse (RN) ICU
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (7:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience
- BSN required
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Previous travel or contract nursing experience required
- Must be able to work 3 night shifts per week
- Requested Time Off (RTO) must still allow all scheduled shifts to be worked
- Every Other Weekend (EOW) availability required
- Active RN license (or compact license if applicable)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Perform patient assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments.
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
