Travel RN – Emergency Department (Auto-Offer)

Hospital: Mission Hospital – Memorial Campus
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

Schedule

  • Shift: Night Shift
  • Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
  • Shift Time: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • Weekends: Every other weekend required
  • Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed; schedule based on department needs
  • Auto-Offer: Yes

Unit Details

  • Department: Emergency Department (ER)
  • Beds: 101
  • Patient Ratios:
    • Typically 4:1 (medical patients)
    • Up to 7:1 for ED behavioral hold patients
  • Documentation: Cerner
  • Equipment: Baxter infusion pumps, patient monitors
  • Floating: Within all sections of the ED only; no floating outside the ED

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years RN experience
    • At least 1 year of Emergency Department experience
    • Level II Trauma Center experience
    • Comprehensive Stroke Center experience
    • High-volume ED (100,000 annual visits)
    • Previous HCA experience preferred
  • Strong teamwork, flexibility, and ability to provide real-time coaching/feedback

Required Certifications (before start)

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • CPI
  • NIHSS

Within 90 days of hire:

  • ENPC

Dress Code

  • Navy blue scrubs
