Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Department: 736A Respiratory Care/Diagnostic Services
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Day Shift (Every Other Weekend)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
- AHA BLS (Required)
- AHA ACLS (Required)
- AHA PALS (Required)
- Georgia Respiratory Care License (RRT) (Required)
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification (Required)
Job Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments
- Manage mechanical ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and airway support
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and code blue situations
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
Important Information
- No local candidates (must reside 50 miles from the facility).
- Travelers are expected to work the following holiday schedule:
- 2 Major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year's Day
- 1 Minor Holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
