Description

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Address: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE
Unit: 694A ATL Clinical Care – Inpatient Acute Care
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 5×8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Local Candidates: No local candidates within 50 miles

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient nursing experience
AHA BLS certification required
Strong Medical/Surgical or acute care nursing experience
Must be proficient in IV insertion and IV medication administration
Experience administering IV antibiotics required/preferred
Chemotherapy or Oncology experience is NOT required

Patient Population

Primarily infectious disease and acute care patients
No oncology-based patient population
No chemotherapy administration involved

Holiday Requirements

Must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3:

Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year's Day

Additionally, must work 1 minor holiday:

Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
New Year's Eve
