  • Number of Beds – 2 CVOR rooms
  • Number of Staff – 9
  • Type of staff:
    • Day Shift – 4 fulltime RNs, 1 PT RN, and 4 Scrub techs
    • Night Shift – Call coverage
  • Patient Ratios – NA
  • Type of equipment - NA
  • EMR – Meditech
  • On Call Requirement – About 10 days a month
  • Floating Requirement - NA

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

  • Adult or Pediatric CVOR experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

  • Pediatric CVOR experience

  • Open heart surgery

  • Ability to adapt to patient care situations in the open-heart environment

  • Call is required after hours and on weekends

Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Dedicated pediatric congenital heart team that is close and works well together. The heart center just opened a new 25 bed cardiac ICU and we have 2 congenital heart surgeons.
