Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Travel Contract

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Department: 7600V Nuc Med GMC – Nuclear Medicine
Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
Hours: 5×8-hour shifts / 40 hours per week
Local Candidates: No local candidates within 50 miles

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience

  • AHA BLS certification required

  • ARRT or NMTCB certification required

  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, imaging protocols, and radiation safety

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to established protocols

  • Prepare and position patients for nuclear medicine examinations

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately as required

  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment

  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and ensure their safety and comfort

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow radiation safety and regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Holiday Requirement

Must work 2 major holidays from:

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day

  • New Year's Day

And 1 minor holiday:

  • Friday after Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • New Year's Eve
