• Patient Ratios – 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, Peds - team nursing - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
• Type of equipment - Alaris
• EMR -Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current ED RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC &, NIH
• CPI Blue card
• Active KS licensure

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Meditech experience
• Been to a 52 bed ER or larger
• Good grasp on patient experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• IV starts, medication administration, sedations, pediatrics
