Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratio: 5:1
Equipment:
- Telemetry monitoring
- Post-operative monitoring
Documentation System: Meditech / CPN

UNIT STAFFING:

Day Shift: Charge RN, 4–5 RNs, 2–3 PCTs
Night Shift: Charge RN, 4–5 RNs, 2 PCTs

MUST HAVE:

Minimum 1 year of current acute-care hospital PCU experience
BLS
ACLS

PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE:

Cardiac experience
Prior Meditech experience
NIH certification

TYPICAL PROCEDURES / PATIENT POPULATION

Post-operative recovery of surgical patients
Recovery of patients from the Cath Lab
Post-operative orthopedic patients, including:
- Spine
- Joint procedures
