Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds : 36
Patient Ratios : 1:2-3
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : No US, no CNA, direct pt care
Type of equipment : Ventilators, Artic Sun, Rapid infusers, CRRT machines. IV med pumps, SCD machines, Cooling blankets, Glucometers
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: Days – 4 weekend shifts, Nights – 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
Floating policy: Floats to all ICUs and IMC
Patient Experience requirements: > 2 yr in ICU level unit
Hospital Specifics-
Certifications: ACLS/BLS
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: Experience with vents, Hi-flow oxygen, Bipap, Cpap, IV medications – Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Neo synephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, fentanyl, versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, paralytics.
Must have:
Advanced skills needed: TTM, hemodynamics, PA catheter,
Procedures performed on unit: Intubation, Chest tube insertion, Bronchoscopy, EGD, Colonoscopy, Wound Debridement, Line insertion
Certifications Required: ACLS/BLS
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
Navy Scrubs
