RN - ICU

Job Overview

  • Location: Reno, Nevada
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 3x12 nights, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
  • Weekly hours: 36
  • Call: None

Required Qualifications

  • Nevada RN license required before start
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
  • Experience caring for Neuro Trauma and post-neurosurgery patients

Schedule Expectations

  • May need to float within competency level
  • May be required to work major holidays
  • May need to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
  • Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
  • Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays

Unit Setting

  • Neuro ICU within an intensive care environment
  • Cares for neuro patients as well as general medical ICU patients
  • Fast-paced, high-volume trauma setting
