Unit Overview
The primary assignment will be within Inpatient Rehabilitation. When rehab volume is lower, therapists may assist with acute care and outpatient services.

Full-Time PT Staff: 2

Day Staffing: 2 PTs and 2 PTAs

Night Staffing: N/A

EMR: Meditech
Patient Volume

Inpatient Rehab: Approximately 5–6 patient-care hours
-
Acute Care: Approximately 12–15 patients
-
Outpatient: Approximately 6–7 patients
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- Active Texas State Physical Therapy License
- Previous Inpatient Rehabilitation experience
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual skills preferred, due to a large Hispanic patient population

Experience working across inpatient rehab, acute care, and/or outpatient settings
Typical Responsibilities

Perform PT evaluations and reassessments

Provide physical therapy treatments for inpatient rehabilitation patients

Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences

Provide family training

Conduct home assessments
-
Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical needs
