Pharmacy Technician - Refill Tech

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19153
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: 8.5-hour shifts
Start Time: Flexible between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Refill Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced refill pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

Process and manage prescription refill requests accurately and efficiently.
Review refill information and assist with prescription processing.
Enter and update prescription and patient information in the pharmacy system.
Communicate with pharmacists and other healthcare team members regarding refill requests.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow pharmacy policies and procedures.
Assist with general pharmacy technician duties as assigned.
Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and safety standards.

Requirements

2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience required.
PTCB or NHA certification required.
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician registration required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a pharmacy team.

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8.5-hour shifts

Flexible start time between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM.
