Day Shift – 1 charge, 7 nurses, 5 PCTs
Night Shift – 1 charge, 7 nurses, 4 PCTs
Patient Ratios – 1:6
Type of equipment – wound vacs, kangaroo pumps, telemetry monitoring
EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
At least 1-year current Hospital Med/Surg experience
BLS
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Experience taking at least 6 patients
Strong time management
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Wound care, CIWA assessment, heparin drips
Best personality Fit:
Someone who enjoys fast- paced, teamwork environment
