Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626
Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00a - 17:30p)

• Specialty: Cath/IR RN

• Experience: 2 years required

• Required: Cath Lab experience mandatory – IR-only experience not accepted

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

• Schedule: 4x10s – 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

• Call: 8–10 call shifts/month, including 1–2 weekends/month

• License: Active license required; pending license not accepted

• Local: No – 75-mile radius

• RTO: Keep close to 1 week

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS

• Charting: EPIC required

• Required Experience: Must have both Cath Lab IR Lab experience

• IV/Phlebotomy: Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement

• Cath Lab: Cardiac cath, PCI, stents, diagnostic/left/right heart cath, IABP, Impella, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, Swan-Ganz monitoring, angioplasty

• IR Procedures: Biopsy, paracentesis, gastrostomy, nephrostomy, embolization, angiography, renal/uterine/pulmonary interventions, chest tube placement, kyphoplasty, drains/tubes

• Other Skills: Central/port access, dialysis graft interventions, endovascular procedures, procedural sedation, 12-lead EKG, dysrhythmia management, antiarrhythmics, emergency medications

• Patient Population: Cardiac cath patients IR patients requiring drains, tubes, biopsies, kyphoplasty, etc.

• Scrubs: Provided
