Title: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd Rochester, NY 14626
Schedule: Nights Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

• Experience: Minimum 1 year required

• Shift Ratios: Days/Evenings 5:1 (may stretch to 6–7:1); Nights 6–7:1 (may stretch to 8–10:1 if staff call out)

• Certifications: BLS required; NIHSS listed

• Mandatory Skills: Phlebotomy and IV insertion

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (EOW)

• On-Call: None

• Floating: Required between similar units within scope of practice

• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 75 miles

• License: Active license required; pending license not accepted

• RTO: Maximum 1 week per contract

• Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed

• Charting: Epic preferred

• Scrubs: Any combination of navy and white

Required Clinical Skills

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management

• Rapid Response Team utilization

• Peripheral line care and management

• Oxygen delivery: nasal cannula, face masks, portable oxygen

• Non-invasive airway management

• Isolation precautions

Patient Population & Equipment

• Diagnoses: Acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, sepsis

• Equipment: BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, ventilators, tracheostomies, chest tubes

• PCT Support: Vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living (ADLs) are handled by PCTs
