Number of Staff – 15 CV type staff
Type of staff:
Day Shift – Teams of 3 – 2 RN s and 1 CST Tech
Night Shift – Teams of 2 – 1 RN and 1 CST Tech
Patient Ratios – 1:1
Type of equipment – Client/Stryker
EMR – Meditech / CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 1-year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience
BLS, DORA and NBSTA Certifications must be in hand
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Certification
Must be proficient in Open Heart experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Prior Meditech experience
Prior experience traveling as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities
Cardiovascular experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
CABG, AAA,
TAVR and Valve replacements
