Description

Title: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele
Duration: 13 weeks
Address: 127 North St Batavia, NY 14020
Schedule: Night Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

Beds: 34
Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted
Local Radius: No locals; must live more than 75 miles away
Staffing Ratio: 1:9 on all shifts
Weekend: Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts/month
Float: Required to other Med/Surg units
Required Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Preferred: Previous charge experience
Patient Population: Adolescents to elderly
Patient Types: Joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder), general surgery (appendectomy, exploratory lap, hernia), medical/telemetry patients, and small bowel obstruction (SBO)
Special Equipment: Wall suction; unit receives patients requiring suction
Staffing Model: 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 PCT per 9 patients; modified teams when needed
Scrubs: Navy blue and/or white
