Registered Nurse - Wound Care
Location: Dallas, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Provide nursing care to Wound/Ostomy Care patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Delegate and supervise patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday shifts
- Some Saturdays as needed
- Weekend availability required as needed
- No on-call requirements
- Approximately 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of Wound Care experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- Must maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Ability to provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
