Position Overview

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients, following approved protocols and department policies. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
Maintaining airways and ventilator management
Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
Performing pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases

Requirements

Licensure & Certification:
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Ohio Respiratory Therapist license
- ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy specialty
Additional:
- Must follow submission protocols for consideration
