Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Lewiston, Idaho
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Facilitate development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients
- Maximize functional status of hospitalized patients
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs
- Participate in discharge planning and performance improvement (PI) activities
- Perform administrative duties and pursue professional growth
- Primarily cover the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU); may float to inpatient units if census is low
Requirements
- License: Must have a valid Idaho OT license
- Certifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent OT hospital experience (higher years of experience requirement confirmed)
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Additional: Must submit required documentation and follow submission template for consideration
Notes for Candidates
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- Position may require floating to other units depending on census
- Experience with hospital-based OT preferred
- Must be able to work the specified shift schedule
