Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Department
Location: Selma, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Requirements
- Licensure: Must have an active Alabama RN license.
- Certifications:
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association)
- TNCC certification (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Certifications must be current and attached to the submission packet. RQI certifications are not accepted.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the specialty.
- EMR Experience: Not specified but typically expected.

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Must be able to work in a community hospital setting.
