Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, and delegation of patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. The nurse will also provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Qualifications

• License: Florida RN or multi-state compact RN license
• Certifications: ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of specialty nursing experience required (higher value used: 5 years)
  • Vent/trach experience required
  • Knowledge of central lines required
  • Preferred wound care experience
• Start Date: Must be able to start within 2 to 3 weeks of offer, on or before 3/9/26

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Information

• Must maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Ability to float to other units may be required
• Shift accountability and leadership responsibilities included
