Job Description

• Manage day-to-day operations and long-term planning of the patient care area
• Direct and develop nursing staff, including selection, orientation, training, scheduling, coaching, and counseling
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide physical, psychological, and emotional support to patients and families
• Ensure compliance with nursing operational, financial, and quality standards
• Develop and update nursing policies and procedures
• Enforce adherence to state board of nursing and nurse practice act requirements
• Monitor patient care documentation and maintain confidentiality
• Maintain safe, clean, and well-equipped work environment
• Manage nursing supplies and equipment inventory
• Participate in professional development and maintain current nursing knowledge
• Foster cooperative relationships within healthcare teams
• Take ownership of organizational goals and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wyoming
• Minimum 2 years of House Supervisor experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in supervisory roles within an acute care setting
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NRP certification
• TNCC certification

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
