The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for:

Conducting functional analyses of patient behavior
Participating as a member of the treatment team
Contributing to the master treatment plan and implementing appropriate interventions
Conducting individual and group psychoeducation, leisure activities, and life-skill training and coaching for patients
Monitoring safety of patients and the unit

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Behavioral Health Technician in an inpatient psychiatric setting
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
CPI certification

Work schedule, unit float requirements, and other facility-specific details to be provided during the interview process
EMR experience and other clinical competencies may be discussed during candidate submission

Specialty experience: Minimum 1 year in psychiatric/behavioral health inpatient setting
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
