Description

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher (SPED) that is certified in the state of practice to work in a school setting. This is a contract, full time position.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Serve as the advocate for all students with disabilities (SwD).
Act as the liaison between teachers, administration, parents, and students.
Develop an understanding of Special Education Law and school policies
Possess impeccable communication and people skills
Be extremely organized
Have ability to problem solve and multi-task
Maintain proficiency skills
Sustain compliance in meeting deadlines
Impart knowledge to others to improve service for SwD

Requirements include:

Must have passed content exam.
Must be fully licensed with SC teaching license.
Must be special education endorsed.
