Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Work Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Call required: at least two days per week and one weekend per month
• 48-hour weekly guarantees
• Blocked scheduling
• One holiday required if it falls within the assignment

Unit Details

• 3 Cath lab rooms
• 10-bed holding area
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• EMR system: Cerner

Job Description

• Perform nursing duties in the cardiac catheterization lab, including pre-op and recovery areas
• Assist with technical duties as needed
• Work with cases involving Impella insertion, balloon pumps, CSI, peripheral cases, Rota Pro, device implantation, cardioversions, EVLT, and TEE

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year

• Must be able to work call shifts as specified
• Position involves working in a specialized cardiac lab environment with a focus on invasive cardiac procedures
