Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Job Summary

Seeking a NICU RN with Level 3 experience to provide care for a variety of neonatal patients ranging from stable feeder growers to critically ill Level 3 patients. The role includes floating within the unit but does not require taking assignments in other units.

Work Schedule

Weekend Day Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Hours: 3 AM to 3 PM (12-hour shifts)
Block scheduling with approved orientation consisting of 2 twelve-hour shifts
Approximately 36 hours per week
No call requirements

Unit Details

NICU with 40 beds
Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3
Scrub color: Navy blue
Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Minimum 2 years of NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid Driver's License

Additional Information

Floating required within the NICU unit only
No call responsibilities
Orientation provided with 2 twelve-hour shifts
