Description

Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekend Days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 3 AM – 3 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Schedule: Block scheduling
Call Requirements: None
Floating: Required; may float to assist in other areas but will not take assignments in other units

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Care for a range of patients from stable feeder growers to critically ill Level 3 NICU patients
Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3
Unit size: 40 beds
Orientation: 2 shifts of 12 hours each
Scrub color: Navy blue
Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Valid Driver’s License
