Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Assignment

Location

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

Day shift with weekend rotation (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
36 hours per week
Block scheduling
No call requirements

Unit Details

NICU Level 3 unit
40 beds
Patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:3
May float within the unit to assist other areas but will not take assignments outside the unit
Scrub color: Navy blue

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE
Driver's License
Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Required to submit license, certifications, and driver’s license with permanent home address matching ID

Role Summary

Provide care for a range of NICU patients from stable feeder growers to critically ill Level 3 patients
Orientation includes 2 shifts of 12 hours each

Additional Notes

Floating within the unit is required to support other areas as needed
