Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Employment Type

Travel contract
Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (Monday through Friday, 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM)
On-call requirement: 1-2 shifts per week from 05:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Total hours per week: 36

Job Description

Circulate surgical cases and manage all nursing care within the operating room
Observe the surgical team broadly and assist in maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for patients during surgery

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Minimum 2 years of OR Circulate experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients in the Operating Room
Neurosurgery experience
Orthopedic trauma experience
Experience with Cerner EMR
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Valid Driver's License

Additional Requirements

Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Scrub color provided by hospital
