Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide perfusion services for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases including but not limited to:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
• Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)
• Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR)
• Ascending Aortic Aneurysms
• Aortic Root Replacements
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repairs
• Femoral-Popliteal Bypass
• Carotid Endarterectomy
• Impella placement
• Ventricular Assist Devices
• ECMO cases

Patient Ratio: 1:1
Operating Rooms: 4 OR suites
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (hours may vary depending on call status)
Call Requirements: Every 4 weeks; if on call, shift starts at noon

Required Qualifications

• Perfusionist with at least 1 year of experience
• Perfusionist experience within the last year
• Certification: American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
• Must provide required license and certifications with application or submission will be rejected
• Must include valid driver’s license and permanent home address matching ID
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Additional Information

• Scrub color: Blue surgical scrubs provided by hospital
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used: Cerner, Talis
