Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a 13-week contract to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. The ADON serves as a clinical leader, assisting with nursing supervision, quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and operational management while promoting a safe, efficient, and resident-centered care environment. Requirements: Current RN license required (state-specific as applicable)
BLS certification required
Previous Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or Nursing Leadership experience preferred
Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation, or Acute Care experience preferred
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission, or equivalent)
Experience with staff supervision, scheduling, quality assurance, and infection prevention preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Ability to effectively lead and mentor nursing staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment
