There is an adventure and current opening waiting for a Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to work in Rapid City, SD
Estimated Traveler Rates
- $2700 estimated weekly
- $54.80 Blended estimated
- Permanent address must be over 100 miles from facility
Start Date:
- 7/22/2024
- 13 weeks
Shift:
- 12 Hour nights
- every other weekend
- 48 hours
Requirements:
- South Dakota or compact RN license is required
- 2 years of ICU experience
- previous travel
- Epic experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma
- Diagnoses include: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma – heavy trauma population
- Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR – 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers
- Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, strong critical thinking and assessment skills, working well in team setting, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients.
- Impella, IABP and CRRT – strongly preferred
