This position is for a Surgical Assistant working day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment. The role involves assisting surgeons during complex surgical procedures including vascular, robotic, and neurosurgical cases. The Surgical Assistant supports the surgical team by maintaining sterile technique, preparing equipment, and assisting with surgical exposure and procedures. The position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced operating room environment while ensuring patient safety and surgical efficiency.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of recent CVOR Surgical Assistant experience and at least 18 months of permanent CVOR Surgical Assistant experience prior to travel assignments. Experience in vascular, robotic, and neurosurgical procedures is required. Applicants must hold an active NBSTSA certification and maintain current Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association at the time of submission. A recent supervisory reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty is required.
