Description
Position Overview
Conduct psychological assessments and participate in eligibility evaluations to identify students’ academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and learning needs.
Participate in Child Study/Collaborative Problem-Solving meetings, IEP and 504 meetings, and other student support teams to develop effective interventions and services.
Develop and recommend evidence-based intervention strategies for students, parents, and teachers to support meaningful learning and positive student outcomes.
Collaborate with school staff and district teams to coordinate psychological services, address changing student needs, and maintain required documentation.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
Active Florida Department of Health School Psychologist Certificate (Required)
Active Florida Department of Education School Psychologist Certificate (Required)
Experience working as a school-based psychologist with K–12 students, including experience with IEPs and 504 Plans
