Description

Help every student feel seen, supported, and empowered to learn! Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher in Easton, MD, to support elementary students with diverse learning needs and help them build confidence, independence, and academic success.
Position Overview
Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to elementary students with diverse learning and developmental needs, including autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and language impairments.
Deliver services primarily within the general education setting while collaborating with classroom teachers to promote student access, engagement, and academic progress.
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and instructional strategies based on individual student needs.
Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student growth, inclusion, and successful educational outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification
Experience supporting elementary students with autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and/or language impairments preferred
