Description
Position Overview:
Conduct assessments and interpret results to differentiate language disorders from dialectal differences while clearly communicating findings to families and educational teams.
Design and deliver high-quality therapy in individual and group sessions using creative resources to drive measurable student progress.
Manage the end-of-year IEP process within while ensuring compliance with IDEA and Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) requirements, and state guidelines.
Partner with educators and parents while maintaining adaptability regarding scheduling and school assignments.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and an active NPI number
Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
Minimum of one year of experience in a school-based setting (Required); Two or more years preferred
Experience with Medicaid billing systems preferred; ability to pass required background clearances, including fingerprinting for preschool settings
