Description
Position Overview
Provide occupational therapy services that help high school students build functional skills, independence, and confidence in the school environment.
Partner with teachers and school support teams to develop practical strategies that help students engage in classroom activities and navigate their daily school routines.
Apply individualized occupational therapy interventions based on each student's unique needs, abilities, and educational goals.
Track student progress, maintain timely documentation, and collaborate with the school team to support positive student outcomes.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Support Personnel (Occupational Therapist) endorsement
Experience working with high school students in an educational or specialized student-support setting preferred
