Description

This position will report to the Chief Perfusionist. The Director is willing to consider 1st time travelers if they meet the criteria of the unit description.
Facility does about 400 hearts per year, with growing aortic arch repair and advanced aortic arch grafting procedures (types A and B). ECMO and independent ECMO cannulation experience is a hard stop requirement. Cell saver experience is a hard stop requirement.
Must have 10 years of experience (will consider 5-10) and have CVOR, General OR, and Trauma Level 1 Experience.
Patient Age Group: Adults, Geriatrics
Shift: 5x8, 0715 - 1730 (First case starts at 0715, unless urgent/emergent case)
Call Req: Yes; Response within 15 mins is required; Will alt call with chief
Weekend Shifts: Weekend call every other weekend and overnight call rotates weekly
Certs Req: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS
