ICU Travel RN
• Perform and document ongoing assessments, tests, and patient response to procedural intervention.
• Participate in coordination and education of patient needs with patient care team, family, and patient.
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition; implement and revise plan of care according to patient’s status.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
• If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
• Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• Also referred to as: intensive care unit nurse, critical care nurse.
Job Requirements
• 2 years of critical care experience as an ICU nurse
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• May require CCRN certification
