Description
The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) is a licensed registered nurse who supports the safe and compliant conduct of clinical research studies by integrating nursing practice with clinical trial requirements. In collaboration with Principal Investigators, study coordinators, and interdisciplinary care teams, the CRN provides protocol-driven participant care, education, and ongoing assessment; coordinates study-related clinical activities; and ensures accurate documentation in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), institutional policies, and applicable regulations. The CRN serves as a key liaison among participants, providers, and sponsors/CROs to promote participant safety, data integrity, and an excellent research participant experience. The CRN is responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
