Description
Assists the anesthesiologists by setting up supplies prior to surgical procedures. Assists anesthesiologists with insertion of arterial lines, epideral,
spinal and regional blocks. Maintain equipment and supply levels for anesthesia care. Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing staff to provide
timely room turn over and maintain OR daily schedule.
- Responsible for the set-up of anesthesia equipment for operating room
- Follows established laser-operating procedures exhibiting knowledge of equipment requirements per
procedure. - Establishes priorities for anesthesia set-up, supplies, and equipment in a logical sequence according to
patient’s needs/type of surgery and formulates an appropriate work plan including lasers, videos and
microscopes - Assist other Operating Room support staff with room setups and turnovers and coordinates floor and unit beds
to operating rooms. - Setup of arterial lines, blood warmers, cell savers and warming blankets
- Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Experience: One year of hospital/surgical background or experience.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Certifications: CPR required.

Experience: Thorough knowledge and experience in operating room procedures, anesthesia equipment and instrumentation
preferred. Working knowledge of laser usage for urological, orthopedic and endoscopic specific procedures. -
