MRI Technologist - (MRI Tech)
StartDate: 3/16/2026 Available Shifts: 12 E Pay Rate: $2168.00 - $2234.00
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1-year MRI experience preferred. IV Starts SHIFT - Saturday, Sunday 12pm-12am and Wednesdays 0630-1900. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT certification in MRI required. BLS issued through American Heart Association required. IV certification perfered. POSITION TITLE: MRI Technologist DEPARTMENT: Radiology POSITION SUMMARY: Performs high quality MRI’s for interpretation by the Radiologist in an efficient and timely manner. Exhibits the ability to manipulate the exam to better serve the patient requirements. Knows how to adjust parameters to meet patient’s size, body habitus and needs. Always puts patients’ safety, needs and feeling first; makes sure to check positive identification before performing all exams. Knows how to provide quality care to all. Advance knowledge of cross sectional anatomy required. Ability to work fluidly and as a member of a team. Manage patient flow and obtain pertinent patient medical information/data. Perform QA/QC in accordance with ACR guidelines. Ability to start, maintain and remove IVs and power injector. Has advanced knowledge of contrast media, how it affects patients and what action to take in the event of a reaction. Checks and double checks all contrast before it is given to the patient and charts contrast usage appropriately in the patients chart. Use of vital signs monitoring equipment for critical patients.
