Physical Therapist - Acute - (PT - Acute)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 9 D Pay Rate: $1761.00 - $1814.00

50-mile radius rule. No more than a 3-month work history gap in the last year. 2+ years of experience including at least 1 year of Inpatient Rehab experience is required – will not consider New Grads. Doctorate Degree, current TX License and BLS (AHA or ARC) required. MedHost EMR experience preferred. Dress code is any color scrubs. Float may be required. Physical therapists (PTs) are licensed health care professionals who can help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. Physical therapists can teach patients how to prevent or manage their condition so that they will achieve long-term health benefits. PTs examine each individual and develop a plan, using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. In addition, PTs work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles. Physical therapists provide care for people in a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes. State licensure is required in each state in which a physical therapist practices.

Required Qualifications
Physical Therapist, Acute Experience: 2 years Licenses: PT(Compact Accepted) Certifications(At least one of the following): BLS-AHA, BLS-Red Cross SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year References: 1 Reference in entire work history DOCTORATE DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED PROGRAM
1+ years of Inpatient Rehab experience

Preferred Qualifications
MedHost experience preferred
